What should water temp read?

With Summer coming on I would like to ask if my water temperature is normal? My mechanical AutoMeter guage reads between 200 and 210 year around after warm up. The previous owner changed the thermostat and I was wondering if the thermostat temperature is correct. Trailer towing package, radiator not very old, 172K miles, 50/50 antifreeze, timing 12BTDC, sloppy timing chain.

Sounds good to me. The temp should be between 195°F and 220°F depending on load, ambient conditions, and cooling system condition. If it hits 230°F I start getting worried. Remember that those gages are not tremendously accurate so their readings should be verified.
