I have a stock coil and i just got the pertronix setup. I am going to get the pertronix flamethrower coil which is 40,000 volts. What i was just wondering is when i put the new coil in do i need to adjust every thing else? like timing gap. etc. or will it just pop in. Thakns

Plug gap should probably go to .044"

Where instruction not included with your system Chris?
Maybe check the pertronix web site.

No to AOL.

I went to the web site. It didn't mention anything about needing different wires.

BUT<
Resistance spark plug wires in a race vehicle is an oxymoron.
With pertronix 1 ,I would think you could use original equipment since
the igniter replaces the points in your distributor.

Correct ?
