Here is what I did when I bought mine....go to the Ford website and build one with the exact options of the one you are looking at at the dealer. Once you have it built, it will give you retail and for some reason it gives you dealer invoice. Then you know where you are dealing from.

Any dealer will sell you at 1k over invoice, plus you get to take the incentives off of that. A desparate dealer will sell you at invoice, because all dealers have holdback money also (probably another 1500 - 2000) and still make some money. In addition, Ford sometimes runs all kinds of other programs that could motivate the dealer to take a skinny deal.....like if the dealer sells 10 units, the dealer gets a retroactive rebate from Ford for all 10...if you are #10 and at the end of the month, you might get a very good deal. The long and the short of this is, you should be looking to pay somewhere between invoice and not more than 1k over invoice, plus should get to take the incentives home as well.

I went last day of March, got 06 Lariat 6.0 CC 4x4 SB with almost everything, no moon roof, no clearance lights, no PTO. MSRP just under 50, got it for straight invoice, 40k. Got 5k for my 98 Exploder, too. The last day of the month really works.

I found a truck that I like 350, CC, PSD, Auto, Lariat, everything buy clearance lights, and PTO. MSRP of $50,180. Selling price of $45,192 (500 over invoice since he has to bring it from somewhere else) plus D&H and taxes. They are giving me $3000 trade for my 04 F350 Lariet (basically same as above). Then subtract the current rebates ($3300) and with 0% for 60mon with nothing down I am looking at a payment from $672-687. I was hoping my 04 would be worth more, but who knows. It is running pretty good, I just have new truck fever. Not sure what to do, but this doesn't seem like that great of a deal to me. I have to also pay to have my B&W turnover taken off the old one and put on the new one.

How much to put a moon roof and clearance lights on my 04??? LOL, Levi

Somebody is getting spanked, man I hope you ment $33000.

I got my 04/04 F250 6.0L at invoice (sticker at 42k I paid 36k) and 0% for 72 months. If it wasn't for the beating I took on trading in my 2003 F150, my truck might be worth (on trade in) what I owe. But as she stands now, I am $4000 in the whole.

It sure is tempting to take advantage of some of the incentive plans out there, but I just can't pull the trigger. Hopefully in a couple more years, I won't be "upside down" on my loan to value ratio and I can get a new one. Well as long as the 2008 models are not ugly.

They are giving me $27,000, and I owe $24,000. I think I have talked myself into driving my 04 for a while. Levi
