The 67/72 is the same series with some light and reflector changes along the way, but you can make it work.

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
I forget the lingo sometimes are you referring to the narrow bed or the wide bed? You can buy the narrow beds, and Ken should have them in the online store here.

"Fleetside" and "Styleside" mean the same thing -- a wide bed with straight exterior walls and the wheel wells inside the bed. The alternative is a "stepside" bed, which has the wheel outside the bed and fenders attached the exterior of the bed to cover the wheels.
Yes, Ford did offer short styleside beds on 67-72 trucks. They are much less common than the long styleside beds, however. Keep looking, and you will eventually find one.
I've only seen 2 really nice ones up here so far. 1 was for sale and rust free but it was dented up and needed more work than the guy wanted. Oh well, I guess the search continues. Maybe some one will make them soon
You sure about fleetside and styleside being the same thing? I was under the impression that there was fleetside which was the straight side, and then there was the styleside or flareside, with the "shapely" bed. You saying that's wrong?

Here we go again This was gone thru a while back, kinda like the what FE stands for. Please dont start that one again
From what I gathered during the last discussion, and I am sure I will be corrected if I mis-state this
Styleside=Ford term for straight sides
Flareside=Ford term for "shapely bed"
Fleetside= Chevy term for straight side
Stepside=Chevy term for "shapely bed"
Personally I call then as I see them. They look like steps so it is a stepside and they look like air flows easily over them so they are fleetsides.
My 2 cents.
What do you do if you are like me and your forgetter works better than your rememberier? I get CRS bad sometimes.
