We are very tempted to buy all V-10's next time. All of the 350's listed get a best of 10mpg when towing it is more like 6-8mpg.
Although none of the trucks we have are light and when trailering they get heavy.
all of them are around 12,000gvw, except the F-250 it is 8100# it get about 15-16 empty, and 8mpg towing a 12,000# fifth wheel, not really bad for 35's and a 4.30 gear.
And yet you can still get an H2 in California, which will NEVER get better than 10mpg. My neighbor just got is new 07 GM 3500 dually with the 8.1L, which is getting about 6mpg mixed highway/city, but I can't order an 07 V10. It makes no sense. I average 11mpg mostly city, see sig. 15 if I'm really nice to it on the highway.
