but slash,
how will he make tight turns to cut around shrubbery and nonsense like that? I would think he could have something like an ARB? with the compressor running off the 300 like on HD trucks with air brakes.
This is getting out of hand.
It might be getting out of hand, but it's still funny.
I was low on funds when i was 12 so i only got the 2000 version mower with a LS D44 and 800HP!!!!
no it wasnt open he welded it with his cold-heat gun from the TV.
i still dont know why the kid wants 22s on his ride, im perfectly happy with my 15s and 33s, but o well. and cant you put stakes on a wooden bed?
kind of...it had sides on it about 1.5' tall so it was mostly a wooden replacement for a stock bed...it stayed within the width of the truck body too instead of being wider like many stake beds...i want 22s to be different if it were 4wd i would lift it 4" sus. and 3" body for some big meats but its 2wd and i just like it like that...im still lookin for an 80s-early90s vic wagon so i can make an off-beat wagon...i am not on an unlimited budget...most of my plans are gonna be from this summer-whenever...i will be taking it to the Butler Area Vo-Tech in 11th grade so i can do chassis mods and performance there without spending money as much other than parts...i have a 70 something Simplicity Yeoman that i just swapped a 3.5 HP motor on with horizontal shaft instead of vertical...im lookin for a larger horizontal motor too and a vertical for this other tractor i have if anyone has an engine for me let me know
This has nothing to do with it, but why whould you want to combine suspension and body lifts. Why not just a 6" lift? A 6" on a 1/2 ton will clear 39s.
Just curious, do you have a link or pic to the 22s your thinking of getting? Also how much would one of those 22s cost?
well those 22s are from an SRT-10 truck...I think for four rims with tires its $1400 or something like that...i had no idea it could fit 39s with a 6" suspension lift...then again a dude with a 79 at this show i was at has a 6" sus. and 3" body with 44s
and i still cant figure why someone would spend 1400$ on wheels and tires, when they are just in HS. once you get out working a real job and spending your own money on things you actually need you will see how stupid that is. this being said, i have worked by butt off for both of my trucks, a 80 f250 and a 78 bronco. nothing was ever giving to me, and it makes me value a dollar oh so much. please just get to appreciate the simple things in life and dont get caught up in the bling and showing off.
well thats where u get me wrong i aint into the blingin show off crap...i just like the way the truck would look...nothing has ever been givin to me either and am loooking for a job now
slash, I spent $1,200 on my wheels and tires and I'm just finishing HS, but I too worked my butt off to get everything I have done so far.
Right now I just bought another 79 Bronco and hopfully I'll build it up and sell it and get a nice profit after I enjoy it alittle.
i will probably also clean up my wheels and have them painted same as body color with some whitewalls to switch on/off with my 22s...probably clean up the hubcaps and either have them rechromed or get new ones...anyone know where to get those at? i think they say ford motor company on them with a black ring also
