I have seen awesome Ford wagons too... I have nothing against them. With a little tweaking like paint, performance mods, wheels, etc, they will get attention wherever you go... Around here, they jack 'em up and put 24 inch wheels on them... NOT the kind of attention I am talking about! lol

Oh, and besides the rust, the wagon you show looks pretty decent. Just make sure it runs and shifts good!

Hope you have a NICE paying job to be able to pay for everything(mods), a new car w/ mods, and alot of gas in both.

Truck will be a good start though, but make sure and get ride of the rust!

Good luck

please dont put anything bigger than 16s on that stakebed, or i might have to come up there and take it from you. its had a hard enough life working without being humilitated like that, IMHO.

and again, why do you want a early 90s crown vic wagon? if i were to buy a car for a daily driver, get a focus or something good on gas.

Unhappy

slash, you got to understand, he doesn't care about gas.
He was going to use his truck as a daily driver after building his 300 I6 to get 600 HP without NOS, turbo, or a SC.
Who care if it gets 3-4 MPG..... Honestly

Just curious, are you on a unlimited buget?
POWERFUL Engine rebuild, 22s, paint, drop it, ect....

That's alot of money for someone to spend that doesn't even have a license or job.

I'm not telling you what to do, but try being alittle more realistic(what's wrong with some really shinny polished 15s?)

Slash,
didnt that mower have a 108" deck and a D60? Open D60 of course so he can still corner!

You have to understand MBB, myself, and some others have had a rather interesting topic over in the Inline forum with this guy.

All I can say is I know how hard I had to work to be able to buy a 4cyl 4x4 ranger when I was 15 and I know I didnt have extra money to add bumper stickers much less drop a 460 in.

STG, I know what you mean, 600 HP and 500 ft/lbs of torque out of a 300 that will be used daily w/out a power adder. Not likly.
He'd have to spend a couple grand on wheels and tires, engine rebuild, ect...
Nothing I could afford when I was 15 or now on my daily driver.

My mistake, I read a little too fast and thought you said LawnMOWER not LawnKeeper. But IIRC the lawn keeper had a lawn mower with a 1000ft lbs 300I6 that regularly out pulled the D11s and did have a 108" blade deck and a D60....open of course

but slash,
how will he make tight turns to cut around shrubbery and nonsense like that? I would think he could have something like an ARB? with the compressor running off the 300 like on HD trucks with air brakes.
This is getting out of hand.
