dummy lights

does anyone know where on the web to go to find out what items trigger the fuel cap light to come on?

Ummm, wild stab in the dark here, but wouldnt the fuel cap make the fuel cap light come on?

Nope, I have gotten the light five times, I keep getting a error code of P1aee which has no meaning. It should be all numbers. I just replaced the cap to see if it was it and I still got the light three weeks later again. ???

I think that an unstable pressure in the tank would make that light trigger which is most commonly the gas cap. Does it come on steadly? Did you try to replace the cap again, maybe a bad cap that you bought? After the problem is fixed that light should go off within 500 or so miles.
