it's getting close to inspection time, and once again, my emergency brake has quit working. (the mechanism in one rear wheel always comes undone somehow)
i've been trying to find info on hydraulic brake locks. sounds like a good idea...but how do you install it?
here's a link to what i was looking at-

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-Mar-02 AT 07:06 PM (EST)]This is easy to install, but I would not use that one from JC Whitney. I'd find the brake lock that is electric, so you don't have to route brake lines into your cab.
I recall one called "Mico lock" that is electrically activated, and you just put it inline, between the master cylinder and the brake cylinders you want to lock, then run the wires to the dash or wherever.
Sam, I found a site called Brakelock.com but I can't get any response from them when I e-mail them. They sell a brakelock system that mounts anywhere in the cab and is activated by the turn of a key that you can take with you.I like the key lock setup but like I said, they haven't responded to any of my E-mail questions???? Mico will be my second choice if I cant get thru to them, good luck.
