Who bought their truck brand new and who bought theirs used?
Hopefully a moderator will turn this into a poll question as I am curious as to how many of us have actually purchased our trucks new vs. who purchased used. There is no wrong answer either way I just see probably about 75-80% of all postings indicate that the truck was bought used and therefore the "new" owner doesn't have much history (maintenance & repairs) to look back on. Typically interested in the 99-03 PSD's. Thanks for your inputs!!
It runs much better, shifts much better than when I bought it. It still feels tight, rattle-free. If I drove it right now for the first time, I'd guess it had less than 30,000 miles on it.
Purchased mine new in May '99 F250 4X4 Crew Cab 165,000 now.
I live on the East Coast and if I needed to go to the West Coast I would take it tomorrow without any hesitation or concerns! As ARNINETYES stated... the truck is tight and rattle free.
used had 15000 miles now 55000 new alternator at 28000 multi functional switch 32000 sway bar support rods 53000 oil leak to be checked out plus back up alarm
Four years old with 95.200. Now has 170,00 and still runs and rides like new. Am leaving in the morning on a 5,000 mile trip to Alaska and have no concerns at all as far as the truck is concerned. Me, I am a different story.
Bought my 2000 F250 4x4 7.3L extended cab used on 20060101(thats jan 1st of 2006 for u none military ppl) Happy New Years! W/64,000 original now with 66,700
Used. 2000 F-350 purchased on eBay from a broker in Dallas in September '04 with 127,000, now has 148,000. Saved about $7K over local sellers. Minor wear on the steering wheel is the clue to its milage. It's still "tight".
Love this truck. It's exactly what I was looking for, color and all!
