Mark Up On Washers

Can anyone tell me how much of a mark up there is on Washers for Laundry?

I need a new washer and would like a frount laoding one, who makes the best one today?

Try consumer reports for a lead. They usually have a household appliance edition. Not sure when it comes out but you can try that ancient thing called a library to see if they have a copy.

Buy a whirlpool brand. they make most of the other brands anyway.

May as well get the best one they manufacture

I bought the largest Kenmore HEII front loading washer/dryer they sell.

Great combo ,even better when stacked.

Go to Sam's or Costco. There will be less markup there because its wholesale.

Ditto on the Whirlpool recommendation from Dennis. Just remember to wipe down the washer door seal after you use it and keep the door slightly ajar to keep the washer from developing a moldy smell.

Whirpool also makes the Roper Brand.

They are a bit plain in design and dont have 79 settings for the washer or dryer but they get the job done.

I bought a set to replace my old stuff and we have been very happy with them.
