Maybe some one a little more in thw know can answer this question for me-----
The rear brake hose from the frame to the axel on my 70 F-250 4x4 broke over the weekend. I went to my local parts stores this morning and they say they can find a listing for the 67-69 models, the 70 is separate and then the book lists 71-73 or so as being the same. The 70 lists no hose no. at all. The other years do show one. I called my local FORD dealer and he looked up the number, said it was discontinued, laughed and said the ^%#!* thing should have been junked 20 years ago. Well I'm not exactly a FORD finatic like some but that statement pissed me off!!!! Back to the hose- I tried NAPA. O'Reilly's. HELP!
Thanks in advance
Dave
You might want to check the LMC truck catalog, they might have lines for your 4X4. Personal experience has shown me that people who work in auto parts stores and at Ford aren't necessarily the nicest folk in the world, especially when you mention that you're drivin' around a 30 year old vehicle. You're not the only one who has been scoffed at by "friendly salespeople" for lovin' old iron.
