This may seem like a really dumb question.......maybe it is? Now to the question! The plot thickens
I have a 2001 F350, have only been around it for 7 days and can't remember what color the dash lights were at night. I am ordering the auto meter pod and want to get the right color lights. I am thinking green but not sure. I would go out tonight and look at them but I am currently in Iraq and don't think I'll be back in time for coffee. Can anyone take a gander at theirs and let me know? I would very much appreciate the effort. I would also like to thank all for their prior help and knowledge on previous posts. What a great world we live in.
Now that someone has brought up dash lights. I can't get the little glow light in the dimmer switch to work. I have tried replacing the bulb more that once. For some reason dumb little stuff like this bugs the crap out of me. Anyone with an idea?
Oh and thanx for your service in Iraq. Zap one for me please. I did a lot of them for you as an USMC grunt in 'Nam, alas to no avail.

yep green...the auto meter Z series wiil match perfectly.
ya they are a very good match. they come with red and green plastic covers to slide over the bulb to match your dash. you dont need to order a certain color.
Thanks for the info, saved me a few miles on that one. If you order from BCD they ask what color you want in the pre-wired package??? I put green. Probably give you all but since they are mounting the gauges maybe they put in the color you want so you don't have to pull the gauge later. I would like them all as I may change colors just for the variety...............the spice of life!
