Just like my '87, its deep jewel green with a bit of pearl added to it. A little darker (more like forest green) than that truck, but turns a shade of dark bluish in the shade

That 4/10/06 color is freakin sweet though

Only thing I can offer color scheme wise is what I plan on doing.

- Single dark coat on the outside, carried over to the inside shell. Dash and major components to be different shade of same color, with seats and accent peices to be nuetral grays and finished stainless steel. . . .Or if I 2 tone it I will split color duty between the 2 and use them for accents and dash. . .

Still don't have a color yet

Good idea, lighter shade and neutral gray. Was thinking of installing Mustang buckets and making a wood console in between running from the dash all the way back with padded armrest/storage box, drink holders, speakers, etc. A project down the road. I'll keep that in mind.

Waiting on the arrival of a 1976 F100 Ranger XLT with a 300 inline and a granny low 4 speed. Who knows from there. Repaint? Holley 390? Headers?

just got done installing the u-joints on the rear shaft which I would've been done sunday but the wrong joints came in and they were a 1/16 too big so I had to wait till monday so they could order them in for today. The good news is that the drivetrain is a lot smoother now but when I get up to 65mph the growl I was having is still there which I think that it could be that the t-case needs rebuilding. I've found on here that the bw 1356 likes to go out at around 120k miles.

Just had the right side ball joints done for the F 350. It took three days, two mechanics and one surprised shop. I had planned to do myself but with the change in weather, having to do the job outside and the size of the truck I passed on this one.

I ever glad I did.

Well...I got my new project underway. I ordered a full exhaust system for it, and installed it yesterday. Now, Im just waiting on the Fuel programmer (fuel injected) to arrive so I can dial it in. This will be my neverending project...I want to get into some flattrack racing, or cross country racing with it.

Tunes Swap

Just did the swap on a new set of tunes. Bought a Sony CDX-GT210 ( I know it's not the best one but it works for me ) and the Volvo install kit from Circuit City. Took my time so as to not "butcher" it and make a clean job of it. BIG UPS to me and a pat on the back as I think it turned out well for some over the hill kind of guy like me! lol Not to mention that the tunes sound a lot better than what I put in 6 months ago, 24.95 special from Auto Zone. Searched the 67-72 forum for helpful hints and presto!!!!! , good tunes.

Cheers!

Sweet tunes. . .I see someone has his priorities in order

I'm still chuging along on my truck. . .passenger side corner and some of the seams are "dun". Welded in, no body work yet. But it looks better than the rusted out mess it was. Doing the drivers side this weekend hopefully. . .I have both floor pans coming in and a cab mount. . .that should basically wrap up the cab other than body work I need to post a pic of the drivers side, I've cut out nearly 3 sq-ft of sheet metal

Theres a lesson here some where. . .oh yeah, rust is pure Evil, and cussing at it doesn't make it go away

I FINALLY got the new suspension on my 65 F250. I just got it started today. I had some nightmares trying to get it running. The previous owner welded the headers/collectors/exhaust as one big piece, so changing the starter turned into a multi-day process. Now I need some headers w/a bolt on collector, tweak a few things, bleed the brakes, and get the power steering working. It's almost ready to be driven again.
