My truck did not come with the optional Tow Command feature, my question is can I purchase the OEM module and associated wiring and install this on my truck after the fact?? or am I just better off installing an after market brake controller, and what are some good brake controllers out there??

Fits:
Ford Super Duty F-Series 2006 2005

Note: The Ford TBC can only be used with trailers that have electrically-actuated drum brakes (one t0 four axles) and not hydraulic surge or electric-over-hydraulic types.
Although that is what Ford SAYS, there are electric over hydraulic systems that will successfully work with Tow Command. Sensabrake and Carlisle are a couple of manufacturers that make them.
