mine hits 22 psi stock, but its fresh. I havent even put a tuner on it again since rebuild of motor. I wanted stock, and kept it that way, I lovwe that old thing, and wanted to get another 650000 out of it.

If ya really want to find your max boost try this method:
1. find a fairly steep long hill on a good road at least 2 lanes each direction
2. at low traffic time approach it at 60 mph with OD locked out
3. just as you start to climb nail the accelerator to the floor
4. keep one eye on the road and the other on your boost gauge
That will max you out every time if the hill is long enough
another method would substitute a good load, such as a trailer > 9K lbs, for the hill.

alright I got my truck all done (for now) and im hitting right around 17-19 but I wasnt looking all that much at the boost guage.

who's talkin about a stock truck??
my autometer ultralite makes a little tink noise when you wrap that boost gauge all the way around to the far side of the needle rest......but i dont even know what stock parts are still on my rig.....the block, crank, and cam are still stock.....
