The brown leather on my KR is always sticky - even when clean and conditioned. Its the only thing I dislike about my KR daully.
They send you a direct replacement, you have it installed, or do it yourself, and mail your old one back to them and they refund the 100.00 core charge.
Anyone have one?? Yes, I know it's expensive, but the burl wood won't stick to my hands like the leather does.

Brand new factory Ford leather steering wheels show up on Ebay all the time and usually go for a bit over $100
Seems the link does not want to work because of a notice that your transactions are secure.
I agree, you can pick up OEM leather (factory) wheels on E-Bay.
These replacements are OEM, but have been altered to have better quality leather (in the right colors). In addition, you can get real wood inlay on the top section and bottom. This, I like as all leather surround is not what I want and the KR leather on the wheel itself requires too much work.
Just wondered if anyone had seen or heard things about Alliance Technology as a direct OEM replacement.
