How many valve cover bolts are there one ONE valve cover.

Where is the oil pressure sending unit located,beside the oil filter left front or on the back of the engine block near the firewall?

How many valve cover bolts on each valve cover?

Look really close for this one
Where does the thermostat housing bolt to ,the intake manifold or the on the front off the block?

Where is the oil filler cap located ?
Where is the oil dipstick located ?
Which direction are the two backs sparkplugs pointing ,towards the front or firewall?
I'm surprised no one else asked these questions.

Hi Dennis thanks for your help!! The answers to your questions are as follows: 1st, The oil sending unit is on the left front of the block by the oil filter. 2nd there are 6 bolts on the valve covers. The t-stat is on the right front of the Manifold. The oil fill cap is in the left valve cover and the dipstick is located on the right front of the engine. Thanks again!!

The fuel pump mounting bolts, are there they Above & Below or side by side ?
Also, What is the firing order on the intake manifold?

Currently I have a four speed. I would like to switch over to an automatic. Would I have to switch the entire steering column?? I don't see any provisions on my current column for an automatic shift lever. If I did have to change the column where or who might have one that I could purchace one from??

I still think it is a 302.
The 360/390's as I remember have the oil filler that comes near the Rad hose.
I am still waiting to hear which way the two rear most sparkplugs face
