First official Intro

First of all I would like to apologize for improperly introducing myself. I did not even realize that this area of the FTE existed. I am fairly slow to computers, how they work, and how to use them. However, I find this sight to be the most informative sight that I have seen for Ford trucks etc. With that said, my name is Warren, and I am a Fordtruckaholic. I have owned several Ford Trucks, all from the 70's. Due to ignorance, lack of ambition, lack of know how, and just plain out having my priorities in the wrong place.
Let me tell you my story. I moved back home in 2003 to Holden La. I could hear my neighbor starting an old truck from across the street and lo and behold it was a 1976 F250 4X2 that sounded like a beast. After a year and a half he decided to sell it because of his wife. I bought it for $400.00. I put a fresh 390 cid engine in it. I believe it has a t18 tranny. That is what he said the tranny was but I haven't really researched all that yet because it works fine and I am going to eventually put a C6 in it. The truck is white and pretty straight except the front quarter of the bd floor board is rusted out.
Bolt ons and performance upgrades: So far I have only put an Edlebrock Performer RPM Intake and Edlebrock 750 Carb. It already had headers that flows out into 2 inch glass packs. I don't know why because the collectors are 3inch.
So far I have replaced the front coil springs( one side was busted out) , shocks ( high end Monroes), brake calipers, pads, brake lines for front. Starter, alt, power steering pump, lines and gearbox.Everything ignition except the dist.It is next as well. I have most everything for the interior except a new steering wheel and headliner. I put a set of 16 inch American Racing Baja rims w/ Remington Mud Brutes on them.
When I get the chance and help I will post some pics. I hope that was enough info. BTW what is next? Everything else and bankruptcy. HA!
