Oil

What is better for towing a 12k 5th wheel? 15-40 or Synthetic 5-40. Going to head to Wy and Co for a month so, I was just wondering what oil I should use this time.

Synthetic 5W40, if you don't mind the additional cost... better performance on cold start (especially during the winter), generally a minor fuel mileage improvement, and all the benefits of a synthetic and reduced wear...

A good CI-4 rated oil 15W40 which is reccommended by IH and Ford. I personally use Case/IH oil I get in bulk. used it in all my trucks, farm tractors and have had no problems in 30 years. figure they made the engine then probably their oil would be the best to use.
