Smile Fuel rail Mod

I recently did the air bleed on the fuel rail. I hooked up lines where the two plugs are at in the fuel rail and connected them together, put a .004 orfice in line and plumbed it to the return line, after the mod no change in cackle. Then I replaced the short section of hose just before the fuel pump,( half of the pre-pump mod) Still no change in cackle. Then I installed a small in-line filter in the return line just after the orfice, and their seems to be no fuel in the return line.
Do you think the orfice is too small. I know with the fine people i've read about in here someone has an Idea.

There's no fuel coming through? Have you checked the fuel pump? It seems you would still get some fuel through even with a weak pump, has your power been okay? There could be something plugging the orifice, it might be worth a check. I'm not sure a .004 orifice is enough for both rails, you may need an orifice at each fuel rail then tee the lines together after? How much fuel is in the tank? If it's less than 1/4 you will probably suck air through the flapper valve on the mixing chamber in the tank. Not sure I'm much help, just thinking.

The power has been very good, no complaints there, there has been no fuel through the filter, but I just let it idle for a little bit, I'll know more about it once I drive it to work tomorrow. And as far as fuel in the tank, almost full, I only let it get about half all the time before refueling. Thanks every response is helpful.

So you haven't driven it since you did the mod? I'd give it a couple of miles to clear the air from the system before you decide it didn't help the cackle.

Yeah cookie, I have driven the truck after I did the air bleed mod. I did it sunday and drove it to work all week, I just installed the small clear filter housing last nite, to see if I was getting any fuel. I checked it after I got to work this morning and still no fuel. The truck seems to be running fine, just not getting any fuel through the bleed system.
