max driveshaft angle on d70

I have a 1979 f250 ext cab long box w/a rear d70 in it and was wondering what the max pinion angle/ driveshaft angle i can have is.

Axle doesn't matter. The series of U-joint determines the max angle. if it's a ford 70B axle it should have a 1350 U-joint. The 1350 has 1 3/16" caps and is 3 5/8" across (this is from memory, so could be off here). As I remember a spicer 1350 has a max angle of 20 degrees. The more angle you run with any U-joint the shorter it's life gets exponentially. At 20 degrees it has like a 5% lifespan. Keep in mind the U-joints must also be in perfect phase and U-joint angles must match at each end of a driveline.
