Question on mods

In order to get more fuel into your engine quicker.

Edit: Some times it will make the computer turn the SES light on when it senses the ICP out of range. Otherwise no problems.

I another question, My truck spec sticker reads built 5-99, is this a 99.5 truck.

A 10k mod is an inexpensive means to increase engine performance. If you have a chip, I would remove the 10k mod, especially if you have a chip programmed by Tony Wildman or Jody Tipton. These guys adjust parameters of the fuel injection to optimum - and the 10k mod is changing parameters. The result may not be good.

At the very least, before you order the chip, you should tell them you have a 10k mod and ask them whether or not to remove it.
