No best tuner exists....unless you want to start a war. What would you like to have as an option, is the best question. The most power will come from custom tuners (SCT) using the Super Chips software.

I have the Edge Juice with Attitude and the pyro on my 05 F-350. I like the way it works with the ability to set warning limits and to be able adjust the power levels on the fly.

I have both a Superchips 1704 and a Flashpaq, and have been VERY happy with performance! The company stresses "safe power," and so far I've had zero problems with my motor after over 10K miles with the tuners.

I can relate, of course. The 1704 rocks, but I've already duplicated its function with the Flashpaq so it's waiting for a new home.
