If you have to go get another one, Advance Auto has E clips like the one on the wastegate. If the truck has been driven in the last hour before you try to adjust it you will see how I know where to get them.
With the thermocouple in the manifold 1100 should be OK. 1250 is the danger level where piston damage starts to become possible.
It is important that the rod into the wastegate actuator does not turn any as you turn the adjustment clevis, if it does you will rip the diaphram.
