One doesn't have to store the truck/tanker
Bury some fuel tanks in the ground in hidden area ...hi-jack a tanker truck and do the fuel drop into the tanks and then drive the tanker to another location.
I would want to pay for it..HOWEVER, it seems like most everyone in the oil industry is steeling from us lately, so..... The station owner is probobly the most honest one in the bunch...
I'm surprised I haven't heard that fuel tanker trucks have been hi-jacked.
This would affect the oil companies not the the retailer.
Not sure about Canada but here, the truck is filled and the bill is cut to the retailer that it is supposd to be delivered to, it wouldn't affect the oil companies at all once it leaves the tank farm it's not thier problem. at best it would affect the trucking company as they are responsible for it once the driver signs for it, and a lot of the places own thier own trucks, so your next fill up would have the price increase to cover the cost of that lost fuel.
Diesel thefts have gotten real bad just had to buy locking fuel caps for the big truck, someone stole 200 gallons a couple of weekends ago and another 100 gallons this last weekend from my truck, and they hit up 3 other trucks for 200 gallons apiece. And another driver was talking sunday, he woke up sat night, and had to run inside to the restrooms got out of the truck and found a hose from his tank to the truck next to him with a pump, just a going. Cops made the other driver fill his truck back up since he couldn't prove how much fuel he had taken.
