With gas prices rising to over $8/gal in the UK at the moment I am finding it increasingly difficult to afford to fill my Bronco. As much as I adore this truck its looking like I need to get something more economical and probably a diesel.
AFAIK they never made a diesel Bronco (post 90s at least) so I need to look at alternatives.
I need;
Diesel
4x4
4 good seats minimum (ideally 5-6) and suitable for a 6'3" driver.
Good luggage space
Auto would be nice (always said I'd never have one but have grown to like it)
About the same length as the bronco. A F150 would be too long (although I'd love one!)
Something as happy on the interstate as the back roads.
Good manouverability to cope with small UK parking lots.
What do you suggest? Am I doomed? Will I have to look to an alternative manufacturer?
