motor dyes out

my 1995 7.3L STOPS RUNNING EVERY ONCE AND AWILE ON TAKE OFF.AND WHEN GOING 75 IT LIKE BURPS ONCE AND AWILE.ANYONE KNOW WHATS HAPPENING?LOST ON THIS ONE.REGARDS LEON

Well, thats sounds like the symptoms of the CPS (camshaft position sensor) going bad. There around $100 at an international dealer, but you can pick on up on E-bay for around $60-70 brand new. I would wait for a couple other guys to chime in first. Click on "search this forum" and search CPS for a couple articles that may be of help. Hope this Helps!

i agree. please turn off the caps. its considered yelling and hard to read. not that it offends me just hard on the eyes. thanks

does sound like cam shaft pos. sensor, mine went out last month. they typically go out around 160k.

They can go out any time they want. I replaced mine when it had 20,000 miles, then again with 180,000 miles, and again with 220,000 miles.

(thats funny that one lasted 160K though)
