I have a 95 f250 PSD with the factory anti-theft/remote keyless entry and my remote died. Now i can't get into my truck without the dang thing's horn blaring at me. Also when it goes off it cuts my ignition. Any ideas on where i could get a quick cheap replacement remote?

Reason: misspell
I also have the keyless entry pad and havent had any problems like this.
I had to replace the battery in mine because I would have to be a couple of feet from the truck before it would unlock. Now it will unlock from like 20-30 ft.
When your doors are locked and you open it with the key your horn starts going off? Or you push "unlock" on your pad and the "panic" horn starts going off? When you say it died on you it sounds like it will not work at all. But if it is doing the wrong thing when you push a button, you will have to order a new one from ford, for your specific vehicle "code".
the panic horn would start going off as soon as i unlocked my door with the key. i manually locked the door when i got out and manually unlocked it and it went off...
you can get one off ebay for a couple bucks. they also have batteries in it if it has died. make sure you get a style #2 that has the same numbers on it as your old one.
It almost sounds like you have an aftermarket alarm system. I cannot get mine to "panic" opening it with the key. This problem just started to happened recently?
It sounds like the sensor at the key lock might not be working and not detecting the key. Try the pass. door and see if it goes off.
You can get a new remote off Ebay with programming info with it plus the ford manual has instructions on how to do it as well.
And check the battery. The little one in the remote.
