Are the motor mounts on the frame the same for 302 vs. 390. I was wondering if I can pull out my 390 from my 72' F-250 and put a 302 in its place. If anyone knows please fill me in. Thanks

As was said by the previous reponse that no they are not the same.
I ran into the same problem when I dropped a 351C from a 360. I had to use 302 motor mount towers with motor mounts. I found the towers at a salvage. the mounts at a parts store. hope this helps
