Yes but you'll need a zero balanced flywheel as the 361 and 391 are externally balanced as well 410's and 428's. All other FE motors are internally balanced.

A universal mechanical choke available at most part stores would be the easiest solution. The heater hose "bypass loop" would go thru the clip on the choke. The choke requires a stream of heated air off the manifold choke stove to operate also. It is simple to make the associated tubing and plumbing if a person has worked with a number of these, -but it is not trivial for the casual mechanic which is why I recommend the manual choke.
you can always get a new 500 cfm holley 2bbl from summit for 219.00 www.summitracing.com or ebay autolite carb or motorcraft 2100 carb
I would not advise the use of a 500 cfm holley two barrel on the F-600 with a 361. The 350 cfm holley does a much better job. I took someone's advice, and installed a 500 cfm holley on my 361, with poor results. I switched to the 350 cfm and realized greater fuel economy and driveability. Anybody want to buy a used 500 cfm holley???
