e-commerce is a harsh reality... pardon me if I seemed rude, as it is not my intent.

Subford,

Why don't you see if you can call them direct with a CC #. If not, I'm sure they can make arrangements to take a money order from you.

As for sending that info via the internet, it's secure. Same for paypal. You're more likely to have your info stolen by someone looking thru your trash, then thru a internet transaction.

I do not believe in Pay-Pal nor will I type in a CC number over the Internet.
If I could send a Money Order I would join but they did not make that an option.
Credit card fraud is 10x more likely offline than online. Its trivial for a waiter to copy your card number. No encryption in the offline world, encryption in the online world. I've been making purchases online for 10+ years without a problem.

The Club FTE screen now includes a phone number so you can call and Larry will be able to take your credit card number over the phone, or give you mailing directions. We look forward to seeing "Club FTE Member" in your profile. Thanks!

The three or four times that I've had my CC# jacked, I was able to trace it back to a purchase that I made in person where I signed a receipt and walked out with the merchandise. One time a hospital stole my CC# and bought surgical supplies with it, if you can believe that.

I buy stuff online all the time, and I've never had a problem.

Besides, your credit card company will not make you pay for purchases that you didn't make. I never had a problem disputing charges. They always take it off by the next billing cycle.

So I can't figure out why people refuse to use credit cards online. Maybe it's like people who won't fly - they know that they're more likely to die in a car crash on the way home from the airport, but they still won't get on that plane.

Anybody with more than about 100 posts should be a member of this site. If you have more than 1000 posts, you're taking advantage of Ken and his family by not becoming a sponsor. You have this incredible resource, at your fingertips, for absolutely FREE, and won't pony up $16 to support a man who does this out of love and not money?

My thoughts exactly.. Just think, with the help you all have gotten here, how much money and/or time has been saved?
