saginaw power steering

Question saginaw power steering

is there any way to lessen the play in the steering wheel via adjustments to the steering box? If not any recomendations on an aftermarket box

There are, but make absolutely sure that the play is coming from the box first, if you adjust it too tight, it will damage the box.

yeah its the box, has new rag joint and you can watch the steering column move in the box!!! do you have any Idea what the specs are for adjusting and where to adjust?

if the column moves in the box then that is not fixable and is just worn out and needs a new box.
