The forked catch is part of the dash section of the tray assembly frame. The slideout tray itself has the spring tang riveted to it that grabs the forked catch preventing it from sliding out. The white ball on top of the spring tang is a nylon wear pad.
Well I guess I will head on down to the Testing Dungeon to try to figure out how to make smaller posts; but it appears I have only two options when posting photos from the gallery: Thumbnail & Fullsize. I don't think Thumbnail will cut-it for detail. Is there something I could add to the Fullsize HTML code line to make it more Medium sized?
About the non-stock something in the bezel; I think it came with the non-stock FM Stereo. It sorta trims-out the gaps left from the larger face of the previous stock AM Radio.
I re-size the photo's after they are scanned using the program they are opened with and shown before I up-load them to FTE.
