Does anyone have an exploded view of the ashtray? I think mine is missing a piece or two or maybe three! When I open it, it falls out!

Thanks,
Russell

I couldn't find a exploded view in my Ford book, but here is a picture that should help.

The forked catch is part of the dash section of the tray assembly frame. The slideout tray itself has the spring tang riveted to it that grabs the forked catch preventing it from sliding out. The white ball on top of the spring tang is a nylon wear pad.

Nice picture !

Just a suggestion on the photo posting.

You can re-size them down to about 10 KB for posting.
This saves, scrolling back and forth to see everything and large enough to get the detail.

Wow, I can almost smell the ashes! Nice close-up!

Hey, I noticed a non-stock something cleverly installed in the radio bezel.

Well I guess I will head on down to the Testing Dungeon to try to figure out how to make smaller posts; but it appears I have only two options when posting photos from the gallery: Thumbnail & Fullsize. I don't think Thumbnail will cut-it for detail. Is there something I could add to the Fullsize HTML code line to make it more Medium sized?

About the non-stock something in the bezel; I think it came with the non-stock FM Stereo. It sorta trims-out the gaps left from the larger face of the previous stock AM Radio.

I re-size the photo's after they are scanned using the program they are opened with and shown before I up-load them to FTE.
It's just a courtesy I show to Ken,because of the amount of space photo's take up.

It is a GREAT close-up ,BTW !
