I've looked and looked for the flasher switch but can't find it on my 67. I took the glovebox out and looked but to no avail. The only loose wires i can find are one brown one coming through the firewall in a bundle and a thick black one coming from the left of the steering column which i haven't traced yet. How many/what color/ where from are the lead wires for the switch. If someone could post a picture or a wiring diagram that would be greatly appreciated.
White/Blue Stripe goes from switch to right side front blinker
Green/White Stripe goes from switch to left side front blinker
White/Red Stripe goes from switch to Emergency Warning Flasher (looks like the blinker flasher, it is under the center portion of your dash)
Red/Black Stripe goes from the switch to steering column connector
There were 2 different places they were originally mounted. Either in the top of the glovebox or under the dash to the right of the steering column. There is a previous discussion on the location and the confusion there of.
Hope I have been of some help. All this info came straight out of the 67 wiring schematics book.
