y2kford.com parts (FTE/PARTS-GUY) shows the same piston, 1999 through 2004 for F-series.
Checking Econoline, same piston from 1997 through 2007 (they only use the 2-valve).
So, looks like the same piston is used for all 2-valve V10's no matter whether they are PI or non-PI head.
My own way of thinking about the PI V10 heads is that they have almost nothing to do with the PI heads for the V8's. Camshafts only list as 2000-2007 for the E-series so they are definitely different for the PI heads it would seem.
