I'm updating my fuel line and adding a spin on cartridge filter befor the fuel pump along with getting rid of the crappy conectors going to the top of the tank
I'm going to use braided rubber hose. I am also going to be running 100% biodiesel soon
is there a specific type of hose that everyone is using or that is better or just automotive fuel line from say autozone
It has to be fuel injection rated hose. High pressure. The $1.00 a foot cheapo stuff isn't it.
When I did my truck I bought 10 feet of it for $50.00 from Napa.
Check with Diesel Manor. com.. their fuel injector hose, rated SAE 30R7, p/n FH-30R7-38 is listed for $1.49 per foot, 6 foot min..which will work between the tank and the pump..
Kwik, u must be thinking post pump line?? I used multi-fuel 3/8" line prepump and it was about $2.50/foot. Got it from IHC dealer. Works fine. Braided SS line is way overkill and expensive. Jeg's (a Sponsor) carries SS braided hose at good prices.
