new truck

bought nother psd . I couldnt take the 86 f150 any longer and happened to stumble across this one, only bad thing is i havent got title so i cant drive it yet. I should have it any time, hopefully by next weekend since i gotta get down to Wildmans so i can head to north texas ps rally. This ones also a 96 f250 but its a BONE STOCK maroon 2wd ext cab long bed 156k miles, its gonna serve as a tow truck for my cc and also a dd. Since fuel is getting so high im hoping it will get a little better fuel mileage as well as keeping everyday wear and tear off of my cc. My mods on this one are gonna be very minimal: tint windows (cant stand clear glass), cd player, cat delete, 3" dp, gut ebpv, diy tymar, trans temp gauge and i also have a big trans cooler im gonna throw on it. One of you guys needs to trade in a singe pos chip for a multi pos chip so i can get a tow burn from wildman, ahhh make me drive it stock for awhile lol.

congrats.
did you ever get your cc running?
i thought you were gonna use the cummins as the tow truck? or is that the work tow truck?

i am sure you will mod it even more than you say. gonna need more fuel to tow your cc around. i can already see it.

no, im still waiting on billet connecting rods, orginally supposed to be here a month ago...now im not sure when . I dont care if this one tows my cc at a top speed of 65, its staying mostly stock as i dont want to break it and go back to driving pos f150. The cummins was my dd until the manual tranny went to crap, so i bought the f150 to replace it and wow was it a waste of 1500 bucks.

they worked quite well, infact the 1 time i did get to drive it w/o trans or engine problems i got nearly 17mpg on hwy and they make enough power to break everything. Im very happy with the injectors and still havent had things running good long enough to have them tuned, cant wait to see how that turns out.
