Door Panel

I know this may be a stupid question but is there a trick to getting off my door panel. I have not had much luck. I got a 98 F 150 regular cab.

Cake Walk

All that you have to do is there is two plastic pieces on top of the pannel one is triangal by the mirror and the other is at the back of the door. those just pull off then you have to take off the door handel its under the round piece its like an 8 mm then just slide the pannel up and its off

havent seen a 98 but i think its a bit similar.....behind door handle there is a screw so you gotta snap cover out first.....on top of door left hand side if drivers.....snap out piece and another screw there....push up the handle and your good. Carefull because pins are holding down. hope this helps pal because i got a 99

my 2001 has two screws at the bottom edge of the door. then you pop off the plastic oval cover around the door handle and find a couple screws behind that. lift up on the panel as the guys said, it slides up and inch to get off the clips.
