Dying Problems
I know this is a common problem but Around Feb. I noticed my truck die a few times on me when at idle. Just recently its started doing it at any speed and at any time. I think it's the CPS but its been doing since Feb. is it common for the CPS to show problems and last another 4 months? I can still drive the truck, if it dies it starts right back up. When and where it dies is totally random; I've gone over a week w/ out it dying then other times it'll die 3 times in a mile. It's an 03 w/ 38000 miles. Since its under warranty I left it w/ ford for over a week showed no codes so they charged me $85 and gave me the truck back. I've already changed the fuel filter. Any ideas? or is it just the CPS? if i change the CPS and use the blue one will it void my warranty?

I would second what Hott-Rodd said. Buy the black one off EBAY and if it fixes the problem tell your local Ford stealer to give you your money back and pay for the CPS sensor!

I don't know about voiding the warranty, and the debate is stillout there on te blue one, some people love it, some don't. I am planning on a chip from Jody at DP Tuner and he said to stay with the black so that is what I am doing! I have a spare in the glove box.

that yellow lever is to drian the fuel out of the filter. turn it and fuel will run out. i suggest hooking a gas line to the end of the factory drain line otherwise you will get diesel everywhere
