Jeep A/C cause stalling

I'm having a problem w/ a '96 Jeep 6 cyl. When the A/C is on, it wants to stall at idle. Is there some kind of a sensor that should kick the idle up when the A/C is on? What should I look for?

If it works like a Ford, then the PCM is responsible for kicking the idle up a notch when the A/C compressor is running. The signal feedback is from the A/C cycling switch.

Might be a dirty idle air controller.

I thought it was Powertrain Control Module?

Either way, yeah it's the computer. And it SHOULD up the idle when the A/C comes on.
