"Rag joint" iinstall

Any tips on installing a "rag joint" (steering cooupler). It loks pretty simple, but any info is very welcome. Thanks

65 and 66 use a big and little pin. It must be replaced by the correct unit. the rags are expensive, so i take the sterering colllum out and radius the small side with a grinder to use the later cheaper large pin joint.

If the Rag is bad there will be typically corresponding damage to the seal and lower bearing of the steering collum, or the cab mounts that caused the failure. These items also need to be addressed or the same problem will re appear.

I like the Ford plastic joints. Cost about 80 bucks or so from Ford, cheaper on e-bay if you have time to look. I do not and will not use those "help" joints.
