electric or manual choke

i know this a lame topic, but i thought i would just throw it out there see what people think and express their choke woes. i'm just curious to see what people perfer, electric or manual chokes, and why.

Edelbrock 1406 carb with electric choke. Works great...I can start on cold winter day and drive immediately with fuss.

On old iron I like manual, but it's no big deal. Electric works fine.

What about a mechanical choke that steps down with engine temp increase? Those seem to work pretty well.

Manual all the way on an old rig. I follow the original owner's manual cold-weather startup procedure and I never have an issue. Besides, pushing the **** back in every now and then while driving gives me something to do when I'm not busy shifting or using both hands to reef on the armstrong steering!
