Good bye trees , Hello sore back
Nice guys didn't show up to haul the trees away , even tho the coolers where re-filled!
Took 8 loads in the back of Ol' Fo d (the r is missing on the hood) but I got it done all by my fat , old , balding self! Figure I moved about 2 1/2 tons of brush & limbs , last 3 loads in the rain.
The Boss was glad I had the truck and she's glad the trees are gone.. now she has "plans" for the back yard , and my back is still hurting!
But , other than hauling the cannon to football games , it was the 1st time that I got to use O'l Fo d !
Just need to get the FM working!
Have a good one all!
I was out loading up the truck and notice it was calm , cloudy and cool and started a fire ..... of course then the wind kicks up and starts smoking the entire block. Put it out before someone called the FD.
Tried giving the wood away but no takers. Need to season it for at least a year but it was a hard wood. ~shrug~
Now it's all out at the Sportsman Club , over the side of a ridge with about 50 other loads of brush & limbs!
My friend: *Working diligently on his project on the workbench, fine sanding it, preparing for stain*
Me: Walk up in a serious manner. I'm talking, serious as a heart attack. "What're you makin'..?" ... "Firewood?"
Kills me every time.
Ryan
