Mine is doing pretty good. I just came inside from pulling up the weeds and tilling up the dirt. The corn is about a foot tall. The tomato plants are thriving in this heat we're having here. Brocoli, Cauliflower, onions and pepper plants are doing good too. The Strawberries are a little lagging however. So, who else has a garden going?
Man I got mustard greens growing like mad,
Canalops are taking over their area..
Tomatoes are great looking,Bell peppers have been coming out nice and my lettues is looking good..
Keeping the bugs off...but we been getting way to much rain..but they are making it..
Tomatoes a bit over 2' high, onions and spuds doing great, carrots, okra, cukes and green beaners are reaching for the heavens too. But why has it been that for the last five years so many buds from my pepper plants fall off???? The darn things flower and then fall off, sometimes with a very young pepper
'Bout the only thing we can grow around here this year is rice. Had over 12" of rain in the past month. Farmer's first planting rotted out, been too wet for a second planting.
Tomatoes 2' high, 2 toms ripening on the 'Oregon Spring' plants, the 'Super Fantastic' reds & 'Husky Gold' yellows are flowering. Haven't had a tomato since the last of mine ripened New Year's Day, don't deal with the store bought mush & crystals anymore. Peppers growing ok no buds yet, Green Beans coming along, the durn radishes prob will poop out again. Am beating the deer & rabbits off the asparagus, Git!
Tomatoes in containers, lost a lot of in the ground plants last year with a very prolonged wet spring, so just a few plants in containers, besides the old garden space is soon to be under an addition, well not real soon maybe end of summer start date, we will see. Herb patch hidden in the hills, as always, of course
I just ate my first strawberries of the year
The blackberries arent doing too well yet. The gooseberries are almost ripe. Saskatoon berries and huckleberries will be another 2 months probably. The cherry and apple trees are doing good but it will be a while before anything is big enough to eat.
The chickweed is doing great
The dandelions are done for the year
