No start after injector replacement.
After replacing one injector and replacing the o-rings on all the rest what is the best way to bleed the air out of the system to get it to start. I have cranked on it alot with no luck. I also replaced the V/C gaskets and the harnesses. Pleae help.
1. did you put back in all fuses if you pulled any?
2. are you sure you plugged in all connections?
3. did you drain the fuel bowl? if so re fill to help it out.
4. try topping off the hpop reservoir with oil by either removing the oil press sensor or the hex plug.
5. i bet your batteries are getting weak. the psd needs like 9.6 volts to make the idm work. put a good charge on the batteries or put a jump on it. it takes a lot to jump a psd so be patient.
6. did you drain the oil? if so did you refill it? if you havent touched it make sure your level is good. also change it if you didnt.
i had the same problem and almost gave up. i put a jump box on it and a few more cranks later she fired. it takes a lot to get everything filled up again.
follow those things and she will run.
when it does start do not help it out with the go pedal. let it die or run whatever it wants to do. if not you could ruin your injectors.

Just did my injectors a few days ago....
I removed the IDM fuse to keep the injectors from firing (dry firing can damage them internally). Then I removed a plug from the high pressure oil rails on each head. About five 15 second cycles of the starter brought oil out of the rails. I then replaced the plugs and the fuse and it fired on the second attempt after the prime.
With your truck having a mechanical fuel pump it will probably also be necessary to manually fill the fuel filter bowl to get the fuel supply pulled up.
