Tires- 46 x 16.5 R20 Got 4 new + 70% spare for $600
Shackles- 6.25" eye to eye, 8.5" overall, 0.5" thick, bushing tube is 0.125" wall x 1.5" OD DOM.
Tomorrow Im cleaning up and rebuilding the NP205... I think... Anyone know whats involved? Or is it worth it? If I do it, should I buy gaskets or use RVT? I will be twin sticking it too, home-brew...
Swapping out that tailhousing will be a PITA. ZF's have the whole mainshaft, countershaft, outputshaft, etc, connected to the tailhousing via retaining clip so that it all slides out together. Oh well. Guess Ill get new syncro's pressed on while im at it.
Progress is looking great man! Thats the kind of truck I need to get my hands on up here for my pheasant hunting lodge when the mud/snow gets piled up.
waiting on the gaskets from JBG for the div np205 so I can fab a crossmember for the 205 and then bolt the front axle up to get the drivelin angle close to correct and redo the rear axle and add a leaf at the same time. Then I have to make the tie-rod and drag link out of DOM. And get the D-shafts made. And fab the tailgate cwaziness. Sorry no pics. Oh and convert the tranny to 2wd.
BTW ATTENTION jadf;kljasd;fkljads;kfjads;kf Anyone know where I can order some weldable tube ends that have the inside threaded?
Well I dont know the D-shaft specs bc I'm trying to mount the 205 in the dead center of the axles so the shafts are interchangeable. As far as yokes, Anyone know what was put on Div NP205's?
what do you mean when you say what was put on, like u joint sizes or spline counts or what??? i think most divorced 205's came with 1310 yokes...i dont know about spline count...outputs shoudl be the same as a married ford 205....32spline front(same as atlas etc...) and 31 or 32 rear?
