Is there a reason why a Ranger's frame and undercarriage rusts really fast? I live in New York, and I haven't seen a brand new Ranger with no rust since the dawn of time! I've even seen an '06 with some rust on the undercarriage! It's very odd. It's like the frame is made of surface rust or something. I might be going blind, so please don't mock me too hard.
Furthermore, is there a reason why trucks rust faster than cars, even if it wasn't used for work? It's something I've noticed.
Here in MEEECHIGAN, they taint the roads with salt, too. I religiously wash the underbody of my Ranger, especially during the winter and I still have underbody rust.
Living near Detroit, if the rock salt doesn't get you, the bullets will
soundwave: God knows I hear that one. I live just outside detroit so I hear you 100%. it's a miracle I'm still alive and have no major body rust on my 1993 Ranger. :P
