Lower Racetrack Molding
I have a 79 F250 that has undergone a major paint job finish. I have spent over $8000 on having this truck redone. I have replaced every piece of chrome, light lens, bumper and any other appearance item. I cannot find the lower racetrack molding and hate to put the old stuff on considering everything else is new. I have contacted every vendor for this item and am told it will not be reproduced until later this year. Does anyone know where I can find this last item to make this truck perfect? Dennis Carpenter is the company that is going to reproduce it and the tooling equipment is not ready so I need a NOS item. Anyone know?

I have tried everything that you all have stated. No luck, it is not yet been reproduced. I need an NOS item. Let me know if you hear anything, no aftermarket company is going to have it, trust me I've tried. Thanks.

Dennis carpenter has been saying that for at least 3yrs that I know of. I just deleted mine when I repainted.

Thanks for the help. I sent them an email three days ago. I found them searching on google. Haven't received a response yet, waiting. Hopefully will work out. Any info is appreciated and pass on additional.

Have you tried Mac's Auto Parts? They sell some racetrack style mouldings.
macsautoparts.com and type in body side mouldings in the search bar.
You might also try National Parts Depot. They list some lower racetrack style moulding.

click the above link and on the pic of the Lariat ...follow the chrome trim from the rear side marker light down and forward following the contour of the wheel well.
