laptop computor blues
My laptop won't recharge the battery. It keeps telling me to plug in to AC. I'm plugged in and the green light is on at the convertor box. The connector at the back of the computor doesn't seem to have any excess play in it. Do I have an internal connection problem or is there some fault with my battery.

What you need to do is check the output of the converter box to see if you have the required voltage at that point. The vakue is in the underside of the box. If you don't then the problem is in the cord. If you do the problem is in the computer which means either the battery is dead or the internal charging circuit is gone.
Many times it is the cord, then the battery..
